Baghdad Perfume

Iter, a young Iraqi wife and mother, lives an idyllic life in Baghdad with her beloved husband Rauf and their young son Ahmed. Rauf works tirelessly to shield Iter from the increased sectarian violence around. But as the occupation becomes more oppressive, and water and electricity begin to run out, kidnapping, illness, and the increasing danger of staying in Baghdad becomes too much, Iter will be left on her own forced to face reality in order to keep her child safe. It’s the story of every Iraqi woman.
