Aissa Djouamaa is an Algerian producer-director, born November 30, 1983 in Blida – Algeria, he studied in Tunisia at the School of Arts and Cinema and then graduated in 2010 and began his career by teaching audiovisual in youth houses, he directed short documentaries and fiction in Algeria and then he went to Quebec for the Kinomada program before doing the summer university at the Fémis in Paris. He created his own film production company Nouvelle Vague Algérienne in 2016, he produces short films with young Algerian directors as well as his own projects, he also co-produces with Belgium a documentary and he releases his first feature film in 2020. Recently the producer participated in Bierut Locarno academy international and he was nominated as Jury in the Ali Mâachi Prize of the president of the republic in the category cinema.
