Each event when it becomes a part of the past, it changes into memory. This film is an attempt to revive my agonizing memories, bringing them back to the present time that is longing for them. It is an attempt to dig deeper into the essence of past events I want to reach after all ideologies have collapsed. While filming two of my close friends who shared with me different phases of my past in Syria, before the revolution and after it ended up as a war, I realized that they became the mirror through which I look sometimes to find the psychological transformations that have happened in me through all these phases, from the peaceful days, to the revolution period and to the wartime. When we are filming somebody else, what we are doing in fact, is filming ourselves.
