Yomna Khattab is an Egyptian filmmaker based in Cairo. She won the Sawiris Award for Best Youth Scriptwriter in 2018. The screenplay for her short film “A Regular Day in Spring” received The Film Prize Robert Bosch development grant in 2021. Her debut documentary film “Fifty Meters” was awarded The IDFA Spotlight Award in 2022, and she participated in the IDFA Academy in the same year.
