Barka is a fiction based on the real story of a French Jesuit priest who arrived in 1982 to Barka, an isolated Christian village in the Lebanese Bekaa valley. Despite rising sectarian tensions due to the civil war, the priest will strive to improve the living conditions and encourage the inhabitants to hold on to their land.
