Since 2010, he’s been a sought-after figure in the industry, focusing on Africa and Arabic-speaking regions. Afifi trains young Sudanese talents, producing over 40 short films, some winning prestigious awards worldwide. He established in 2014 the Sudan Independent Film Festival, connecting Sudanese and African filmmakers globally.
