In a blink of an eye she lost her son for the most absurd reason: a hole in a bridge. She’s the only one who believes that he can still be alive. Hala Lotfy is an Egyptian filmmaker. Her first feature film Coming Forth by Day had its European premiere at the Berlinale Forum in 2013, and it won many awards and was screened in more than 50 festivals. In 2014, the film joined the Greatest 100 Arab Films list made by DIFF.

Mohamed Samir has worked as a film editor for more than 12 years before becoming a producer. Samir produced several short films in addition to many feature film projects such as “Factory Girl” by Mohamed Khan. Samir is now focusing on producing films that have a special narrative and visual approach mainly for 1st and 2nd time filmmakers.
