In an attempt to find meaning to the concept of ‘Home’, the filmmaker trains her camera to examine her intimate surrounding through examining her aging parents’ daily life over the course of seven years since the beginning of war in Syria.

Zeinah Alqahwaji is a Syrian documentary filmmaker. She started working in the documentary film industry in 2010. In the summer of 2017, she obtained her master degree in documentary filmmaking. She has several short films to her credit; she is finishing her first feature length film, and developing the second.

Ali Hammoud is a Lebanese filmmaker, executive producer and programmer. He completed his BA in Communication Arts at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since 2001, he has worked as a freelance director and editor for several TV stations, and on documentary films in Lebanon and abroad. In 2009, Ali directed his debut short documentary ‘About Those Who Have Gone’, which was shown at DocuDays and the Dubai International Film Festival. His feature documentary ‘Asphalt’ had its world premiere at Visions du Reel in 2016. He is currently in the development phase of his next feature.
