Son of the Streets

Khodor lives in Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon. He is without an ID and both parents are dead. Over four years, Khodor’s stepmother and half-sisters desperately try to get him an ID so he finally gets the right to education, health care and freedom of movement outside the Palestinian refugee camp.

Mohammed Almughanni is a director, screenwriter and cinematographer from Gaza. He studied Film Directing at Łódź Film School and made films in Cuba, Palestine, Denmark, Jordan, Lebanon, Poland and Germany. He is working on the feature “Son of the Streets”, a continuation of his award-winning short
