After starting his career as a film technician and participating in many projects within the cinematic community and film festivals, Mohamed co-founded HAKA Distribution in 2013. It is the first distribution company specialized in independent films and is today considered among the most active companies in Tunisia. He runs two cinemas specializing in alternative films: Amilcar in Tunis since 2015 and the Metropole in Menzel Bourguiba since 2019. He is also the founding president of the Cinematic Echo Association, an association active in promoting cinema among marginalized groups since 2017. Mohamed bet on enabling author films to access the largest cinema. A number of screens across the country, built on a sound economic model while cinemas were closing and audiences were losing any opportunity to attend screenings of the author’s films.
