Masahat AFLAMUNA is all about connecting people with independent Arab cinema in their communities. We are building a pan-Arab network of community cinemas, non-commercial spaces, where film lovers can come together to watch powerful, independent Arab films. This isn’t just about watching films; it’s about creating spaces, bringing Arab independent films to communities’ doorsteps, and connecting through the splendor of cinema.
If you’re someone who loves film, cares about your community, and wants to bring independent Arab films to your space, we want to hear from you! Whether you’re part of a cultural space, a cinema club, or even an individual passionate about film, we want to help you turn your space into a vibrant cinema hub for your community.
Here is the Masahat AFLAMUNA film library!
We will review requests based on criteria such as community engagement, venues’ nature and activities, and plans for hosting screenings. We are especially excited to hear from people in underserved areas, like rural spots or refugee camps, and we’re committed to gender balance within this network.
If you’re ready to bring independent Arab cinema to your community, submit a request now! If you’ve got questions or want to know more about the project, feel free to reach out to us at masahat@aflamuna.org.
We can’t wait to collaborate and grow this vibrant network together! Let’s bring independent Arab cinema to every corner of our communities!
