Beirut DC has held an online summit under the theme of “Dealing With The Past”, bringing together researchers, academics, artists, and civil society actors who work on memory and history.
The summit paves the path to collaboration possibilities through Beirut DC’s film programs by sharing projects, emerging narratives, and action plans.
Through archiving a past likely to disappear, or restoring multiple-sided versions of history, by reclaiming access to knowledge and truth, or giving access to filmed stories about the past; We believe that all this work intertwines and must be explored collaboratively.
