The 5th edition of Maskoon Fantastic Film Festival will close with Icelandic film Lamb by director Valdimar Jóhannsson , winner of ‘Prize of Originality’ at the ‘Un Certain Regard’ section at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 and Best Motion Picture, Best Actress and Best Directorial Revelation at Sitges Film Festival 2021.

Starring Noomi Rapace, Lamb is set in rural Iceland, where a childless couple discover a strange and unnatural newborn in their sheep barn. They decide to raise her as their own, but sinister forces are determined to return the creature to the wilderness that birthed her.
