The film’s central idea is based on observing and depicting the social, economic and cultural effects of war and its aftermath, including the transformation of ordinary people’s beliefs, ideas and dreams. The focus is on the “new generation” of girls and young men and their ideas about life and identity, which have changed as a result of the war, as well as aspects of psychological influence. The film uses some of its supporting scenes from the archive.
