After the war

The film’s central idea is based on observing and depicting the social, economic and cultural effects of war and its aftermath, including the transformation of ordinary people’s beliefs, ideas and dreams. The focus is on the “new generation” of girls and young men and their ideas about life and identity, which have changed as a result of the war, as well as aspects of psychological influence. The film uses some of its supporting scenes from the archive. They are placed in the context of written scenes and acting clips, some of which are based on reality re-enactment and fictionalized documentation, to enrich the idea, meaning and rhythm in a professional cinematic, documentary and dramaturgical framework. The film does not deal directly with the political aspect, although in a way it depicts the results and effects of the political and economic conditions
